The sun is out and we have a couple new locations on the schedule for the month. Keep your suggestions coming as it really helps all of us. As a reminder, we are welcoming, friendly group and all artists are invited to join us. If you paint between 9am and noon, you won’t be alone, but please feel free to come early or stay late as your schedule requires.
July 23 – Buddy Todd Park – 3000 Mesa Dr., Oceanside We have painted here a couple of times and the views are great. Lots of lovely mature trees, ocean vistas from the west side, playgrounds, and paths. Parking is free and restrooms are available.

Because some of you have asked, I am going to be doing a 6 week Monday Plein Air Class starting July 15 for those of you using oil or acrylic who are feeling that they’d like some weekly instruction. I’ll do my best to share what I know to help you with your plein air goals. We will have a maximum of 8 and and will paint from 10am-1pm at various plein air locations in north county. Please reach out if you’re interested and share with your friends.
I have a group text for Tuesday painters where people post work and usually say if they are attending etc. My iphone does not allow me to add more than 20. I am open to starting a 2nd group or even a 3rd so that more people can be included. Group texts can generate a lot of notifications, but you can opt to leave the conversation at any point. This is just an option for people and in no way required to be part of our painting group.
