It was in the middle of the twentieth century that Jeffrey R. Brosbe first began taking pictures, but it was only after gaining historical and cultural perspective of attending USC, UCLA, living and working in the Middle East, and traveling throughout Europe and Asia in the 1960’s and 70’s that he began consciously creating photographic images worthy of being called fine art.
His images are fine art photographic prints in extremely limited editions. His images are best described, in general, as “Introspective” and often “Impressionistic”. He considers the creation of an image the same as the creation of a Haiku: “It should be whole and meaningful in itself while providing greater insight when pondered further.”
