Peggy Stokes when times were simple

Peggy Stokes… I have been a photographer since the late 70s in San Francisco. Most of my studies were under the watchful eye of Professor John Weir and Professor Michael Harris…these 2 outstanding photographers taught me the basics of what they felt photography is comprised of…

See the image!

Feel the image!

Make the image!

This is what I do to this day. I take great pride in the simple way I translate my visual images for those who choose to view my work….

Many of my early one woman shows were black and white and infrared film. Recently I had a one woman show consisting of 50 photographs at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach, CA.

During these new times of sharing my work, I have renewed my passion for photography…some of my photographs are still derived from the superb Kodachrome film…I also do not manipulate my work…but I do admire those who have the talent to achieve what they are looking for in this media.

It is fun to be back in the artistic community…..
