March 26 – Clubhouse @ Lake San Marcos – This is a new opportunity to get into an area normally reserved for residents to paint Lake San Marcos, boats, surrounding hills or lakeside homes. One of our members (Dan Milner) has graciously offered to get us into the clubhouse where there are restrooms and a lovely patio/lawn from which to paint. He is even going to provide some donuts and coffee. Park at/near 900 La Fiesta Way, San Marcos CA and his friend Mark will allow you access through the back gate to the adjacent clubhouse.

We paint every Tuesday from 9-12.
Hoping for some sunnier Tuesdays in the month of March. I have 2 locations that were rained out in February, one new location, and one seasonal favorite, so it should be a good month. I hope you can join us. We are a friendly, welcoming group for artists of all levels (relative beginner to seasoned professionals). If you paint from 9am-12pm, you won’t paint alone. There is no instruction, just a chance to get out of the studio, be inspired by your fellow artists, and paint from life.My contact information is:

The California Art Club is hosting an exhibition at the Bonita Museum that will be open to anyone painting with the San Diego plein air groups (including our Tuesday Group). Submissions must be painted en plein air between January and May 2024. More details to come.
