Paint Outs
About ten years ago a few dedicated plein aire painters went out into one of the myriad of beautiful places in North Coastal San Diego County to capture the light and atmosphere of the day. Today they are still at it. This diverse group meets to paint in such varied locations as Torrey Pines State Reserve in Del Mar, San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas, and Batiquitos Lagoon in La Costa to name only a few of the challenging spots. You can join them every Tuesday throughout the year (check the Paint Rag for locations).
Mother’s Day Weekend Art, Garden & Studio Tour
This is SDAG’s big annual show/home tour and is a proven success as a local event and is a major sales activity. Members are encouraged to participate in a variety of ways.
