With the sun shining, the plein air season is in full swing. Please join us for some fun Tuesday morning outings. All artists are welcome and if you paint between 9 and noon, you won’t paint alone.
June 24 – Elfin Forest Reserve – 8833 Harmony Grove Rd. Escondido – This fan favorite will still be cool and shady this time of year and there will be lots of water in the creek creating lovely reflections. Parking in the lot is free and rustic restrooms are available. Take the path across the bridge or down to the right for lovely water views without too much hiking or get more adventurous and head to the left and across the rocks. I won’t be there this day so please welcome any newcomers.
Please, don’t forget to register for the Oceanside Plein Air Festival 2025 coming up September 6-13. It is our largest local plein air event and as it gets closer, we will be doing a little “practicing” in and around Oceanside. Early Bird registration ends June 30 and they are currently looking for Select Artists (June 2 deadline).
