We have been having a great time this fall getting out and painting. From sunflowers to horses and more, it has truly been lovely to paint with so many of you. Most weeks there are 8-12 encouraging, friendly artists of all levels enjoying the camaraderie of time outside the studio. I would urge you to join us while the weather is fair and the crowds at most of our locations are light. If you paint between 9am and noon, you won’t paint alone.
Nov 19 – South Ponto Beach – Park on Carlsbad Blvd (free) south of the jetty and just north of La Costa Ave and the Alila Marea Resort It’s time for a water day. Paint the waves, the beachgoers, the nearby resort or the lifeguard towers. There should be a little something for everyone on this wide open beach. The internet says there are restrooms, but I don’t recall exactly where they are the last time i was here so plan accordingly.
