April 29 – Carlsbad Flower Fields from Armada Drive – The fields should be in bloom and open for visitors, but we will paint them from above (there are a series of observation decks). In March the north end was blooming. By this time, it’ll be toward the end of the season and it’ll be the south end blooming. Park on the west side of Armada Dr. between Canon and Palomar Airport Rd. Parking is free, but there are no convenient restrooms without going down to the outlet mall so plan your coffee accordingly. I will miss this week.
