SDAG Annual Members Meeting – 1/24/2026
As required by their by-laws, members of the San Dieguito Art Guild, a 501(c)3 group of San Diego County artists, met at the Community Center in Encinitas for their yearly meeting.
The members enjoyed a delicious brunch and coffee. Each member introduced themselves and showed a sample of their art medium; heard a “State of the Guild” presentation by guild member, Judianne Shannon; received a treasurer’s report by Jill Ballard; heard a report on the Guild’s Legacy Program by Lin Holzinger; and enjoyed a very informative presentation by Han Christ on AI and the Artist.
39 members of the guild gathered to have a social time and learn more about their fellow guild members. Guild Board Members in attendance included Jill Ballard, Treasurer; Sue DeWulf, Gallery Manager; Kathy Bush, PR Chair; Deborrah Henry, Floor Art Director; Lin Holzinger, Newsletter Director; Ann Nebolon, Secretery; Marcy Evers, Hospitality Director; Whitney Moore, Webmaster; Han Christ, Jobs Director; and Grace Swanson, PR Director.
The San Dieguito Art Guild, established in 1965, owns and operates the Off Track Gallery, 937 South Coast Highway 101, Suite C-103, Downtown Encinitas. In addition, the group the very popular annual Mother’s Day Weekend Art, Garden, and Studio Tour on Mother’s Day weekend and an annual Holiday Bazaar featuring hand made artworks by the guild members.
2025 – 2026 Board of Directors Installed
The new Board of Directors for 2025-2026 for the San Dieguito Art Guild was sworn in at the last meeting of their fiscal year on August 25, 2025. This was a joint meeting of current, outgoing, and incoming board members followed by a pot luck lunch — the “old” board providing lunch for the incoming board members.
The San Dieguito Art Guild, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization founded in 1965, is made up of over 200 talented local artists. The corporation owns and operates the Off Track Gallery, 937 South Coast Highway 101, Suite C-103, Encinitas. SDAG is dedicated to furthering artistic understanding and fostering artistic growth of members and the community at large by promoting interest, education, knowledge and skills in the visual arts. The Off Track Gallery is shows the work of both experienced and emerging local artists. Their Monthly Shows provide an opportunity to see artists’ newest and best work in a variety of mediums. Their ever-changing gallery artists include oil, watercolor, photography, mixed media, digital art, wall-hangings, textiles, gourds, wood-turning, pottery, jewelry, glasswork, etc. There really is something for everybody!

San Dieguito Art Guild Annual Membership Meeting

As required by their by-laws, members of the San Dieguito Art Guild, a 501(c)3 group of San Diego County artists, met at the Community Center in Encinitas for their yearly meeting.
The members gathered to discuss Guild business and to kick off the celebration of the Guild’s 60th year!! Longstanding members were also recognized.
Other activities were a “Bring It/Take It” gift exchange; introduction by each member present showing a sample of their art medium; a “State of the Guild” presentation by guild President, Janet Scura; a treasurer’s report by Jill Ballard, treasurer.
Over 35 members of the guild gathered to celebrate, have a social time and learn more about their fellow guild members.
