Diane Dudek has been painting for more than 30 years. She studied art at California State University, Long Beach where she obtained her degree. Now living in Encinitas, she has taught classes in the San Dieguito School District.

Diane has worked in various media but prefers oil painting and pastel. Creating impressionistic landscapes, seascapes and florals give her the most pleasure. She paints outdoors weekly with a group of local plein air painters. “I love the serenity I feel being in nature and the way color and light can create a mood”. You may see her out at her favorite spots, Swamis Beach, Moonlight Beach or Batiquitos Lagoon.

Her artwork has won numerous awards and ribbons. She has exhibited many times at the Del Mar Fair and shown her banners on the Coast Hwy in Encinitas. She is currently a member of the San Dieguito Art Guild. She is happy to do commissions of local scenes.
